Chris Hahn is a trained marine engineer and a multiple master of his craft. From that precision he shaped the Styling Garage, from 1978, into a globally renowned address for automotive refinement.
His gullwing Mercedes became a legend in the 1980s — sought after by an international clientele with the highest standards, from Hollywood to the royal houses of the Middle East.
What drives Chris Hahn is a simple standard: 100% is not enough. Every detail, every mechanism, every line must work and inspire for decades.
Today SGS stands for exactly this heritage — combined with modern engineering and the passion to turn automotive dreams into reality.

What does SGS Styling Garage do?
Since 1978 SGS specialises in high-end coachbuilding: conversions (gullwing doors, convertibles), restoration, maintenance, repair as well as bespoke special models and small series.
Where is SGS based?
We are located at Winzeldorfer Weg 6, 25462 Rellingen near Hamburg, Germany. Visits are possible by arrangement.
Can I buy a vehicle?

Does SGS fit gullwing doors to my car?
Gullwing, butterfly and scissor doors are among our core disciplines. We assess feasibility and effort individually — contact us with your project.
